You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
find the average rate of change of f(x)=x^2+6:
a. from 1 to 3
f(1) = 1^2 + 6 = 7
f(3) = 3^2 + 6 = 15
ROC = (15-7)/(3-1) = 4
---------------------
Do b & c the same way.
b. from 2 to 4
c. from -2 to 1
