You can put this solution on YOUR website! Please help me solve for sin(theta)
1. cot(theta)=-1/5, (theta) is in quadrant IV
tan(theta) = -5
theta = arctan(-5) = -1.3734 or -78.69 degrees
-----------------------------------------------------
2. tan(theta)=-sqrt7/2, sec(theta)>0
With those conditions theta is in QIV
arctan(-sqrt(7)/2) = -0.9235 radians or -52.91 degrees
