That's a good job :-).
Let x = hourly rate of pay
40x + (5*1.5)x = $475
40x + 7.5x = $475
Add the Xs
47.5x = $475
Divide each side by 47.5
x = $10
.
$10/hr will get you that car (not right away, though!)
