You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-6(2x+1)=-4x+10
1. Distribute the -6 on the left side to get:
-12x-6=-4x+10
2. Combine like terms to get:
-16=8x
3. Divide both sides by 8 to get your answer:
[-2=x]
4. Check:
-6[2(-2)+1]=-4(-2)+10
-6[(-4)+1]=8+10
-6(-3)=8+10
18=18
