solve the inequality -5x+5<20,
-----
Since all of the terms are multiples of 5, divide thru by "5" to get:
-x + 1 < 4
-----
Subtract "1" from both sides to get:
-x < 3
-----
Divide both sides by -1
That reverses the inequality::
x > -3

Same properties as if it were an equation, except at the step for Multiplicative Inverse for -5; that one reverses the direction of the order relation.
