You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's easy:
Let x - be the first integer, since it is consecutive even we must add 2
x+2 - be the second integer
x+4 - be the third integer (x+2+2)
x+6 - be the fourth integer (x+2+2+2)
x+x+2+x+4+x+6 = 5(x)+2 This is how you interpret it.
Simplify then find x :)
4x+12=5x+2
x=10
So the first integer is 10, next is 12, then 14, and 16.
The smallest integer is 10. :)
HOPE THAT HELPS!
Check:
x+x+2+x+4+x+6 = 5(x)+2
10+10+2+10+4+10+6 = 5(10) +2
52=52
