Question 826047: My math problem says, "express y as a function of x"
The problem is, log3 y= 2+log3 of x. I thought on this one that I could cancel the log3 and end up with y=2x which I moved the 2 to the exponent and came up with y=x^2. But I'm not sure this is right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If this is what you meant, then your are good.
log3(y)= 2+log3(x)
log3%28y%29=log3%28x%5E2%29
so y=x%5E2
