Hi, there--

THE PROBLEM:
Evaluate a^2-b divided by 3 for a=-9 and b=-6

A SOLUTION:
I made the assumption that you expression looks like this:

%28a%5E2-b%29%2F3

You would type this as (a^2-b)/3 to show that everything is divided by 3. The way you typed
it, only b is divided by 3. If you have a different expression, let me know and I'll help you sort
it out.

To evaluate %28a%5E2-b%29%2F3, substitute -9 for a and -6 for b.
%28%28-9%29%5E2-%28-6%29%29%2F3=%2881%2B6%29%2F3=29

Hope this helps!
