You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
This one 5+2x-(3)/(x+1) we can set up with the denominator as (x+1).
It'll look like this:
5(x+1)/(x+1) + 2x(x+1)/(x+1) - 3/(x+1)
Expand this out to:
(5x+5+2x^2+2x-3)/(x+1)
Rewrite the numerator as:
(2x^2+7x+2)/(x+1)
Make sense?
