At I thought i had do 60+30+10= 100. Then I subtract it by 140 but i got 40. It wasn't in any on the multiple choice. Then i thought i had to divide each number by 2. Then i did 30+15+5. I got 48 and subtract 140 by that number. I got 92. Which was way off!
Can u help please! Thank you if you respond to my question. Found 2 solutions by FrankM, ewatrrr:Answer by FrankM(1040) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 60 take Spanish
30 take French
So it looks like this is 90 students. But then "10 students are taking both languages" so it's not 90 we just discussed, but 80.
140-80 = 60 taking no language class.
Hi,
Of 140 students 60 take Spanish, 30 take French,
and 10 students are taking both languages
that is: 60+30 -10 = 80 are enrolled in at least one language class
How many student are not enrolled in a language class: 140 - 80 = 60
