You can put this solution on YOUR website! let x be the amount received by one of his sons, 3x be the amount received by one of his daughters and a be the number of his daughters, then
a3x +x +x +x = 108000
a3x +3x = 108000
3x*(a+1) = 108000
a+1 = 108000 / 3x
a+1 = 36000 / x
let x = 12000 and
a+1 = 3
a = 2
therefore
each son received Rs 12000 and each daughter Rs 36000 (there are two daughters)
check our answer
36000 +36000 +12000 +12000 +12000
72000 + 36000 = 108000
our answer checks
