You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x%5E2-2sqrt%28+6+%29-5=0
With an x%5E2 term but no x term we can solve this with a square root. First we isolate the x%5E2 by adding 2sqrt%286%29 and 5 to each side:
x%5E2=2sqrt%28+6+%29%2B5
Now we do a square root of each side:
sqrt%28x%5E2%29=+0+%2B-+sqrt%282sqrt%28+6+%29%2B5%29
(Note: The zero is there because a flaw in algebra.com's formula software will not let me use a plus or minus symbol without a number in front. You do not need the zero.)
x+=+0+%2B-+sqrt%282sqrt%28+6+%29%2B5%29
