You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First solve for y:
-5x%2B3y=9

3y=9%2B5x Add 5x to both sides

y=3%2B%285%2F3%29x Divide both sides by 3

So we have

y=%285%2F3%29x%2B3

So it is now in y=mx%2Bb form where m is the slope and b is the y intercept. Since m=5%2F3 and b=3 the slope is 5%2F3 y-intercept is (0,3) (b is always the y coordinate of the y-intercept).
Here is the graph of y=%285%2F3%29x%2B3
