Question 823962: Name all values of θ for which y=secθ is undefined. Give the answer in radians.
I read my textbook and I started the problem with secθ= 1/cosθ. I'm not sure what it means when it is "undefined". Does that mean it equals zero? My textbook doesn't really explain this problem that well.
Thanks for your help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Name all values of θ for which y=secθ is undefined. Give the answer in radians.

----------------
Undefined usually means a division by zero.
1/0 is undefined, sometimes called infinite.
x/0 is undefined.
------------
sec is undefined when cos = 0.
cos(t) = 0 --> t = pi/2 + n*pi, n = +/- 0,1,2,3...
