You can put this solution on YOUR website!
use synthetic division until you get a remainder of 0.
-1|.2.5.4.1
..|0.-2.-3.-1
..|2..3..1..0
so the first root is -1. Now we know by looking at the bottom line that we need to take 2x%5E2%2B3x%2B1 and factor this. This is factored into (2x+1)(x+1). The other roots are -1 and -1/2. TYour answer would be: -1 -1 -1/2. State all three.
