Hi,
If the area of the base of a square pyramid is 28 sq. cm and the total surface area is 64sq. cm

find the area of one triangular face.
64cm^2 - 28cm^2 = 36cm^2, the sum of the areas of all of the triangular faces.
there are 4 faces, all the same size:
36cm^2/4 = 9cm^2, is the area of one triangular face.
