If I have a 67% (D)  in my class and my final is worth 20% of my grade 

what 'x' do I have to get on my final to get at least a C in that class? 

   .80*67  + .20x  ≥  minimum for a  C

              x  ≥   (70-53.6)/.20    Ex| let's use '70' as a minimum for a  C

              x  ≥   82
