Question 821616: Please help me answer the following:
Solve the ff. equations. Answers w/ log should not contain coefficients.
1)10^log (x^2-6) =3
2) 2^x (3^(x-2))=5^2x
3)5(25^x-1)= 1
4)(2^ 2x)- 2^(x+1)= -1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You ask too many at once, but I will help with #1.

Putting this into logarithm form, assuming all still in base 10,
log%2810%2C3%29=log%2810%2Cx%5E2-6%29
If these two logarithms are equal, then so must be their arguments, so we have
3=x%5E2-6
x%5E2=3%2B6
x%5E2=9
x=3 or x=-3

I would give advice on #2, but I can't exactly read what you mean. It could appear more precise if done on paper.
