You can put this solution on YOUR website! This means that 2000 x circumference of the wheel = 2.5 km
We will be using the circumference formula C = (pi)D.
Our first step if to find the circumference.
2000C = 2.5
Divide each side by 2000
C = 2.5/2000
C = (2500 meters)/2000
C = 1.25 m
Since C = (pi)D
1.25 = (pi)D
Divide each side by (pi)
1.25/(pi) = D
