You can put this solution on YOUR website! Please help me with my math question: If 6 apples cost the same as 3 bananas, and 4 bananas cost the same as 5 melons, how many melons can Jane buy for the price of 32 apples --------
 Equations:
 6a = 3b
 4b = 5m
 ---------
 b = 2a
 So, 4b = 8a
 ---------
 Since 4b = 5m, 8a = 5m
 ---------
 Since 8a = 5m, 4*8a = 4*5m
 ----
 Ans: 32a = 20m
 The price of 8 apples buys 20 melons
 --------------------------------------

 Stan H.
