You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve the first equation for y

2x-y=4+

-y=4-2x+ Subtract 2x from both sides

y=2x-4 Multiply both sides by -1 to make y positive. Now the equation is in y=mx%2Bb form

Solve the second equation for y

2x-y=6+

-y=6-2x+ Subtract 2x from both sides

y=2x-6 Multiply both sides by -1 to make y positive. Now the equation is in y=mx%2Bb form

Now graph each equation

+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+2x-4%2C+2x-6%29+ graph of y=2x-4 (red) and y=2x-6 (green)
Since they are parallel and never intersect, there are no solutions.
