I have tried substituting the arguments for 'alpha' and 'beta' variables, but I am not able to find any angles because I do not know how to derive them from the equation.

Your mention of alpha and beta lead me to believe that your equation is:
+4sin%28x-8%29=5sin%28x-4%29+
and not what you posted (which is equivalent to):
+4sin%28x%29-8=5sin%28x%29-4+
Either way, please put arguments to functions in parentheses like you see above. Problems that are unclear are less likely to get a quick response.
