total number of notes = 90

Let x and (90-x) represent the number of 10rs and 5rs  respectively

+10rs%28x%29+%2B+5rs%2890-x%29+=+500+rs+

     5x = 50

      x = 10, number of 10rx notes  and 80, the number of 5rs notes
