You can put this solution on YOUR website! find the line that passes through (-5,10), (0,5), and (5,-20), find the following:
what is the slope of this line?
slope = [-20-10]/[5--5]= -30/10 = -3
what is the y intercept of this line: (0,5)
what is the equation of this line?: y=-3x+5
find x when y = 24: 24=-3x+5; 19=-3x; x=-19/3
