Hi,
Simplify:
(|3(-5)|-|1-7|)/(|6(2)|)
(|-15|-|-6|)/(|12|) = +9%2F12+=+3%2F4

Something that is not often made clear about absolute value is that, in addition to what absolute value means (distance from zero), it also counts as a grouping symbol. So one should go through the operations inside of an absolute value before you find the absolute value. This is the key to your problem.

%28abs%283%28-5%29%29-abs%281-7%29%29%2Fabs%286%282%29%29
So we start by performing the operations inside the absolute values:
%28abs%28-15%29-abs%28-6%29%29%2Fabs%2812%29
Next we find the absolute values:
%2815-6%29%2F12
Next simplify the numerator:
9%2F12
Reduce
3%2F4
