QUESTION:

Find the LCM of 7(v-3) and 21(v-3).

ANSWER:

we have two expressions,7(v-3) and 21(v-3).
7(v-3) = 7 * (v-3)
21(v-3) = 7 * 3 *(v-3)

Here the least number of factors which are common to both the terms are
7, 3 and (v-3)

So LCM. = 7*3(v-3)

= 21 (v-3)
