Question 812935: I need help with the following word problem:
"Suppose that a turkey from Gelson's costs $0.15 more per pound than a turkey from Ralph's and a turkey from from Ralph's costs $.08 more per pound than a turkey from Albertson's. Then, if you buy two 16-pound turkeys from Albertson's, one 19-pound turkey from Ralph's and one 18-pound turkey from Gelson's, you'd pay $125.03. Find the price per pound for a turkey from Gelson's.
I'd appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2*16a+19r+18g=12503,
g=r+15,
r=a+8
a = $1.73, g = $1.96, r = $1.81
