Proportion... but you may be able to relate 2% as a fraction of 8%. The question is about 2%, which s 1%2F4 of 8%. You already know 8% is some 6 ounces. What is then, %281%2F4%29 of 6 ounces?

More formally, given 6 ounces is 8% of a whole quantity, W, then 6=0.08%2AW, and so dividing both sides by 0.08, find that W=6%2F%280.08%29=%286%2F8%29%2A100=0.75%2A100=75 ounces.

You wanted to know 2% of 75 ounces.
