You can put this solution on YOUR website!
log_(4) (x^2) - log_(4) (x+4) = 6
Assume it's:
log%284%2C%28x%5E2%29%29+-+log%284%2C%28x%2B4%29%29+=+6
write as a single log
log%284%2C%28%28x%5E2%29%2F%28x%2B4%29%29%29+=+6
the exponent equiv
%28%28x%5E2%29%2F%28x%2B4%29%29+=+4%5E6
:
%28x%5E2%29%2F%28x%2B4%29+=+4096
:
x^2 = 4096(x+4)
x^2 = 4096x + 16384
A quadratic equation
x^2 - 4096x - 16384 = 0
using the quadratic formula I got a positive solution
x = 4099.9961 rounded to 4100
