Question 810063: questions is 1 job pays 400 per week. other job pays 175 + 15% commission. How much would you need to sell to get the paid the same as job 1? I am trying to figure out how to set up the equation to solve it. I know the answer is 1500 so here is how I think it is set up
175+.15x=400
.15x=225
x=1500
Is this correct way to set up this problem?
