Question 809302: Tracy scored 95,82,90, and 83. After the fifth test the score mode was 90. What did she score on her fifth test and what is the mean Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
Since the first four scores are all different, the only way the mode can be 90 is if there are two scores of 90, one of them is the third test. Now I wonder where the other one is going to come from? What do you think?. To get the mean, add up all five scores and divide by 5.
