You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3.1^x = 49.8

When the variable is in the exponent, take the log or ln.

log(3.1^x) = log(49.8)

x*log(3.1) = log(49.8)

x = log(49.8)/log(3.1)

x = 1.6972/0.4914
