Question 807896: PPlease help me solve this its, I really dont understnad how to do Counting Method and Probability Theory
You have a spinner wheel with * "pie-shaped" wedges, numbered one to eight; all same size; whats the probability of getting an odd number or a number greater than 3?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! We have the numbers 1 through 8 on this wheel. So let's list them all out
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Of that list above, the following numbers are odd:
1, 3, 5, 7
And of the list of 8 numbers above, the following numbers are greater than 3:
4, 5, 6, 7, 8
=======================================================
The following numbers are either odd or greater than 3
1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Notice how I just combined the last two lists to form this next one.
There are 7 numbers in this list (the only number left out is 2). This is out of 8 numbers total.
So the probability, as a fraction, is
