You CANNOT divide by zero. So 6x+3 cannot be zero. If it were, then...
6x+3 = 0
6x = -3
x = -3/6
x = -1/2
So if x = -1/2, then the denominator 6x+3 is 0. This is why x = -1/2 is the value that's not allowed (to avoid division by zero)
