If the argument is negative, then you are simply going around the unit circle clockwise instead of counter clock wise. If it was you would go around the circle 11 times and then end up at 71 - 66 is 5, so . Now go backwards around the circle ll times and further in the negative (clockwise) direction and where do you end up?
