I get so far as 3bc - 4ac = 8ab. But then haven't a clue what to do...
Am i doing it wrong?

bring the b 's to one side
3bc - 4ac = 8ab
3bc-8ab=4ac
b(3c-8a)=4ac
b=(4ac)/(3c-8a)
