You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
The set of whole numbers is the set: {0,1,2,3,4,5,6, . . .}
Now, take the SUM of two consecutive integers starting from the beginning, and see what you get:
0+1=1
1+2=3
2+3=5
3+4=7
4+5=9
and so on . . .
Do you see the pattern? This would be the set of all odd whole numbers!
Thanks for the GREAT question!!
