You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Most of this is translating description into numeric symbols and relationships.

x = length
y = breadth
A = area using x and y
.
x=y%2B3, and xy=A, and conclude here that %28y%2B3%29y=A

Condition of x%2B1 and y%2B1, the dimension size increase:
%28x%2B1%29%28y%2B1%29=A%2B18
Remember that we understood from given, x=y%2B3.
%28y%2B3%2B1%29%28y%2B1%29=A%2B18

This set of equations lets you solve for either A or y:
y%28y%2B3%29=A and %28y%2B4%29%28y%2B1%29=A%2B18

WHAT NOW TO DO:
Solve each of those for A, and then equate the formulas. Solve for y. Use the value to solve for x.
