How do you establish the identity of sin(theta) divided by 1+cos(theta)= csc (theta)- cot (theta)?

sin/(1+cos) = csc - cot
------------------------------
Convert to sin and cos:::
sin/(1+cos) = 1/sin - cos/sin
------
Simplify on the right side::
sin/(1+cos) = (1-cos)/sin

Cross-multiply to get:
sin^2 = (1+cos)(1-cos)
----
sin^2 = 1-cos^2
----
sin^2 = sin^2
