Question 804583: The product of five consecutive integers is 360 360 what is the mean of the five integers.
I tried working it out this way: x, x+1, x+2, x+3, x+4
but I wasn't sure of how to work it out without trial and error.

Not sure what 360 360 means
but 5 consecutive integers with a product of 360 is impossible
Find the 5th root of 360, it 3 decimal something so we know it's a low number
2*3*4*5*6 = 720
and
1*2*3*4*5 = 120

response to student comment, I should have realized that, anyway:
Find the 5h root of 360,360 with a calc 360360^(1/5) = 12.9
try 13 as the middle digit 11*12*13*14*15 = 360,360
