Question 804437: h(x) =(x-1)^3(x-+2)^2.. i need help with he leading term test to determine end behavior, maxium number of turning points , finding the zeroes, y intercpt. Mahway cant find a solution and my book is confusing... will somone please please help? Ive exhausted all my resources.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! h(x) =(x-1)^3(x+2)^2.. i need help with he leading term test to
determine end behavior::
Since the highest power term is x^3*x^2 = x^5,
y goes to +oo as x goes to -oo
y goes to -oo as x goes to +oo
------
maxium number of turning points
Since x^5 is the highest power, max number of turning points is 4.
----------
finding the zeroes,
Let y = 0.
The x = 1 or x = -2
-------------
y intercpt.
Let x = 0, then y = (-1)^3*(2^2) = -4
