let x be the smallest side, then we can write the sides
x, x+2, x+4 and the perimeter is
x +x+2 +x+4 = 4*(x+4) -22
3x +6 = 4x+16 -22
subtract 3x from both sides of the =
6 = x +16 -22
6 = x -6
x = 12
and the three integers are
12, 14, 16
check the answer
12 +14 +16 = 4*16 -22
42 = 42
