Width = x
Length = x + 5
Perimeter = 2*width + 2*length
18 = 2*x + 2*(x + 5)
18 = 2x + 2x + 10
4x = 18 - 10
4x = 8
x = 2
Width = 2 feet
Length = 7 feet
