Question 802447: f(x)=4x^4-24x^3+35x^2+6x-9
I have to graph this polynomial function. Minimum/maximums do NOT matter, I just need to know whether it goes up or down. I'm not sure how to break down the equation into simpler terms to find the roots. Help, please? Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=4x^4-24x^3+35x^2+6x-9
I have to graph this polynomial function.
---
Pick values for x and find y. Plot the points, draw a curve thru them.

Minimum/maximums do NOT matter, I just need to know whether it goes up or down.
It's a complex graph. From left to right, it goes down, then it goes up, then it goes down, then it goes up.

I'm not sure how to break down the equation into simpler terms to find the roots.
Look for roots that are factor of 9. 1, 3 and 9 (plus and minus). There might be some, might not.
