3x^2+20x=3

x^2+(20/3)x=1
Third term = (1/2 *20/3)^2
=(10/3)^2
=100/9
x^2+(20/3)x +100/9 =1+100/9
(x+(10/3))^2= 109/9
take the square root
x+ (10/3) = +/- sqrt(109/9)
x= -(10/3) +/- sqrt(109)/3
