You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2%2F5-2%2F5-2%2Ax%2F15=14%2F15-2%2F5
find the common denominator for 5 and 15, which will be 15 so multiply 14%2F15 by 1 which doesn't change anything and multiply -2%2F5 by 3
so
-2%2Ax%2F15=%2814-6%29%2F15
-2%2Ax%2F15=8%2F15
cross multiply
-2%2Ax%2A15=8%2A15
since both sides are multiples of 15 you can cancel them out, then you get
-2%2Ax=8
divide both sides by -2
-2%2Ax%2F-2=8%2F-2
x=-4
:)

Solve for x:
2%2F5+-%282%2F15%29x+=+14%2F15 I hope I've got this right!
When you write 2/15x it could mean:2%2F15x or %282%2F15%29x
When you mean %282%2F15%29x you ought to use parentheses thusly:(2/15)x to remove any ambiguity. Anyway, I'll assume that you mean it how I've written it in the first equation.
2%2F5+-+%282%2F15%29x+=+14%2F15 Multiply through by 15 to clear the fractions.
%2815%29%28%282%2F5%29-%282%2F15%29x%29+=+15%2814%2F15%29 Simplify.
6-%282%29x+=+14 Add 2x to both sides.
6+=+2x%2B14 Subtract 14 from both sides.
-8+=+2x Divide both sides by 2.
x+=+-4
Check: Substitute x = -4
2%2F5-%282%2F15%29%28-4%29+=+2%2F5%2B8%2F15=6%2F15%2B8%2F15+=+14%2F15
