You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Divide the polynomial

%283x%5En%2B6x%5E%28n-1%29-2x%5E%28n-2%29%29%2F2x%5E%28n-1%29

Make three fractions, placing each term over the same
denominator:

In the second fraction cancel the 2 into the 6
In the third fraction cancel the 2's

Subtract exponents of x

Remove the parentheses in the exponents

+3x%5E%28n-n%2B1%29+%2F2+%2B+3x%5E%28n-1-n%2B1%29+-+x%5E%28n-2-n%2B1%29+

Simplify the exponents:

+3x%5E1%2F2+%2B+3x%5E0+-+x%5E-1+

Erase the 1 exponent in the first term
Replace x%5E0 by 1
Replace x%5E-1 by 1%2Fx

%283x%29%2F2+%2B+3%281%29+-+1%2Fx+

Replace 3%281%29 by just 3:

%283x%29%2F2+%2B+3+-+1%2Fx+
