A. Draw a graph of the line that passes through(0,3) and has a gradient of 1.
B.state the equations
C. Draw the line. Y=5-x on the same set of axes
D. State the co-ordinate a of point of intersection
E. Solve the equations simultaneously to confirm your answer to part d.
Please if someone could help, I would appreciate it very much
Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website! A. Draw a graph of the line that passes through(0,3) and has a gradient of 1.
slope = 1
Form: y = mx + b
Solve for "b":
3 = 1*0 + b
b = 3
-----
Equation:
y = x + 3
============================
B.state the equations
y = x + 3
--------------------------
C. Draw the line. Y=5-x on the same set of axes
--------------------------
D. State the co-ordinate a of point of intersection::
Ans: (1,4)
--------------------------
E. Solve the equations simultaneously to confirm your answer to part d.
y = x+3
y = -x+5
-----
Add and solve for "y":
2y = 8
y = 4
---
Solve for "x":
y = x+3
4 = x + 3
x = 1
----
Ans: (1,4)
