Question 799668: If I bought (3x+5) pencils which cost (5x-1) each, how much was my change if I gave 20x+25x+10 to the saleslady? Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (3x + 5)(5x - 1)= 15x^2 + 22x - 5
(20x^2 + 25x + 10) - (15x^2 + 22x - 5)
20x^2 + 25x + 10 - 15x^2 - 22x + 5
= 5x^2 + 3x + 15
Hope this helps.
