SOLUTION: Write the equation in slope-intercept form.
-4x+Y=2
+4× =+4×
Y=4x+2
I am lost. Is this how I solve this problem? I then have to graph it. Please help. Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Write the equation in slope-intercept form.
-4x+Y=2
+4× =+4×
Y = 4x + 2; this is right, the slope/intercept form, slope is 4, y intercept is 2
:
To graph it choose at least two values of x and find y
let x = -2; then
y = 4(-2) + 2
y = -8 + 2
y = -6
and let x = +2
y = 4(2) + 2
y = 10
:
Our two ordered pair are -2.-6 and 2, 10, graph these two points
looks something like this
Note the y intercept is y = 2
